Meet the Midwives

  • Mary

I’m Mary, a community midwife and have been practising for three and a half years (and counting!). I originally studied Accounting and completed my degree, but before graduating I realised my true passion was midwifery. People often describe me as bubbly, smiley, and caring, qualities I bring to every class. My goal is for every woman and her birthing partner to leave feeling empowered, confident, and enlightened.

  • Ivy

My name is Ivy, and I’m a midwife with just over 2.5 years of experience working primarily in low-risk labour care. I absolutely love what I do and feel so lucky to support women and families during such an incredible moment in their lives. I’m known for my bubbly personality, and I try to bring positive energy and calm confidence into every birth space. I'm really looking forward to meeting and growing with you all in this course!

  • Susanah

Dedicated midwife with several years of experience in both nursing & midwifery.  I have supported many women & families through some of the most important moments of their lives. My true passion lies in education, empowering all women, especially Black women, with knowledge about their bodies, choices, and health. I believe learning should be clear, engaging, and even fun, because when we’re informed, we’re powerful.

Meet the Doulas

  • Stephanie

I’m passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with care, encouragement, and fun because parenthood should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I’ll be specialising in birth care and postpartum services, helping you feel supported every step of the way.
I can’t wait to be part of your journey.

  • Naj

Hi, my name is Naj, also known as Bibi of Bibi Birth. As an accredited doula with a background in pharmacology, I bring a rare clinical lens to my practice, walking alongside families through every decision, and ensuring you feel genuinely informed and held at every stage. • Simone

As a Birth Keeper, I am passionate about providing compassionate antenatal and postpartum support to both mothers and fathers as they navigate their journey into parenthood. My focus is on creating a safe, trauma-informed space where parents feel heard, supported, and confident in making the decisions that are best for themselves and their families.

My passion for advocating for and supporting vulnerable women stems from over 15 years of specialising in the domestic abuse field. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with women during some of the most challenging times in their lives, offering guidance, empowerment, and emotional support. This experience has deeply shaped my approach to care and strengthened my commitment to creating spaces rooted in trust, safety, and compassion.

I strongly believe in the importance of education, informed choice, and empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence they need throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My work is centred around Healing, Empowerment, and Restoration, supporting families in feeling valued, respected, and nurtured every step of the way.

  • Hannah

Hi I’m Hannah and first of all congratulations! I’m a specialist physiotherapist, pregnancy massage therapist and doula based in Leicester. My faith and my years working in neonatal and paediatric intensive care both taught me the same thing: that the people beside you in the hardest and most sacred moments matter deeply. Through Nuach, I offer pregnancy massage, practical birth preparation, planned and elective birth support, C-section scar recovery, and postpartum doula care, all held within a warmth that is genuinely clinical where it needs to be and genuinely human everywhere else. I also work with birth partners, because the people standing beside you deserve to feel prepared, confident and truly part of it. I believe rest is not a luxury. It is something every mother deserves to be held in.
